Villa San Marco, Stabiae, 1968. Room 19, garden, looking south-east across garden towards windows.
The two windows on the right would have given light into Corridor 32.
According to Wilhelmina, this was the fourth garden of the Villa and had four large windows which let light into the area.
A cast of a tree-root cavity was taken and this showed that the garden was shaded by the tree.
