This room is entered through the arched entrance in the south-west corner of the portico.
Mau referred to it as a sacred room and as the Hall of Initiation.

Isis and Osiris are seated between trees, among symbols such as a scarab, cobras and a lion.
According to PPM, it was already in poor condition, so much so that it was necessary for Canart to fix it with 60 nails.

Mau described a sacred room that seems to have been used for secret ceremonies.
It was entered from the portico by a narrow door which could be securely fastened.
On the north side is a niche that apparently formed part of a small shrine.

The Museum label says the Ekklesiasterion, but the Museum website says the sacrarium.
Ivory plaque of male figure with hands tied behind his back.
The presence of a wing, suggested by a ripple on the top-left margin, leads us to believe that this is a Cupid, represented according to the iconography of Eros punished, with the hands tied.
