According to Schefold, on the west wall of the ala d was a wall painting of Hercules and Auge (Sogliano 499).
On the north wall was a wall painting of Phrixus and Helle (Sogliano 550)

According to PPM –
This wall was decorated with a similar scheme to the opposite
wall (north wall), with a black zoccolo and red middle zone, with
a painting in the central panel that
was separated from the side semi-panels by twisted candelabra. In the yellow upper zone there were paintings
with pygmies , now completely disappeared.

According to PPM –
The west wall, from which the central
painting of Hercules
and Auge had been cut from, had also been damaged by two holes made in ancient times by
those who returned after the catastrophe of 79.
The gaps in the plaster also concern the central part of the zoccolo/dado
that in the long side panels showed square panels placed at the corner with
bucrania; in correspondence with the architectural views of the middle zone
there are compartments.
In the side panels of the middle zone, with a red background, there are
medallions with busts of Menades crowned with leaves
and with thyrsus. There are no preserved traces of the decoration of the upper
areas, which finished with a stucco cornice.

In the central panel of the black zoccolo, there was a picture with a dolphin
supported by slender cornucopias and flanked by arched garlands: the side
panels were crossed by carpet borders of triangles and semicircles; in the
dividing compartments there were painted plants with long lanceolate leaves.
