IX.1.22 Pompeii. December 2007. Looking south across west side of atrium.

Doorway to room 9, a cubiculum on west side of main entrance corridor.

According to Garcia y Garcia, in September 1943 the same bomb that caused damage to IX.1.20, also damaged this house.

The west wall of the atrium was damaged, and the IV style painted plaster was partially decayed.

In the cubiculum next to the fauces, the pilaster that served as a jamb was broken.
