V.6.12 Pompeii. House with paintings of Priapus, Leda and Narcissus.
Only the western and southern street fronts of this insula were excavated, c.1902, 1905-8.
Further excavations were carried out in 2018-9.

Parte

Of particular note in the atrium of Narcissus is the still visible trace of the stairs which lead to the upper floor, but above all the rediscovery of a dozen glass containers, eight amphorae and a bronze funnel in the space under the stairs, which was used for storage.
Interessante,
nell'atrio di Narciso, è la traccia ancora visibile delle scale che conducevano
al piano superiore, ma soprattutto il ritrovamento nello spazio del sottoscala,
utilizzato come deposito, di una dozzina di contenitori in vetro, otto anfore e
un imbuto in bronzo.
