“A composition of at least five figures. In the right corner foreground is a reclining female with her face towards the viewer; her yellow cloak covers her legs and is lifted by a cupid, who stands behind her. In the middle, a standing youth watches the sleeping female. Next to him stand two others, one wearing a red cloak down to the hips.”
Kuivalainen comments –
“The foremost figure in the middle is Bacchus, and the one in the red cloak is Silenus. The pictorial programme of the room may concentrate on abandoned lovers, even if a better destiny awaits Ariadne.”

According to NdS –
On the north wall, because of the deterioration suffered to the surface by the peeling plaster and with only a few residual spots of colour, the painting was no longer in any way recognizable.
