An old king wearing a Phrygian cap, long sleeved tunic, with a sceptre in his hand, sits listening to a male youth who is in front of him.
The youth is dressed in a white Chiton, with yellow sleeves and undergarments and a red cloak.

Schefold identifies this as Midas learning of the defeat of Marsyas.

The lyre is in his other hand. A base nearby has a tripod on it.

However, Helbig attributed it to Michele Mastracchio.
