FPSC Pompeii. December 2005. Three uninscribed columellae at the south end of the
tomb.
The
eastern columella, on the left, with the largest head, was for a male.
The
columella in the centre was also male. In front of it was a tufa tablet with a
hole for the libation.
The
western columella, on the right, was female. In front of it was a tufa tablet
with a hole for the libation.
A
fragment of a glass perfume bottle was found between the centre and western
columellae.
