The oldest basalt road uncovered between the portico and the current paved road

We observed in two holes the remains of an older basalt road, lying at a lower level than the current one via dei Sepolcri, and having a slightly different orientation.
The negative trace left by the blocks of the sidewalk shows a fairly clear difference between the ancient route and the current road.
