IX.8.6 Pompeii. Casa del Centenario or House of the Centenary

or Domus A Rustii Veri e Tiberius Claudi Veri.

IX.8.6 Pompeii.  December 2007.  Entrance on Via Nola, looking east. According to Della Corte, this magnificient dwelling, belonged to the Verus family. According to the graffiti written on the façade, this was A. Rustius Verus, noted as aedile and duumvir candidate.
Another mentioned was Ti. Claudius Verus, who held the position of supreme magistrate for the year 61-62. Much graffiti was found on the façade, especially between IX.8.6 and 7, for this see IX.8.7.

According to Della Corte, this magnificient dwelling, belonged to the Verus family.

According to the graffiti written on the façade, this was A. Rustius Verus, noted as aedile and duumvir candidate.
