IX.2.17 Pompeii. March 2009. Room 4, cubiculum, north-west corner. According to Sogliano, two painted cupids were seen on the walls of this cubiculum. A standing cupid in the attitude of shooting an arrow, and a standing cupid with a short sword in his right hand, and a shield in his left arm. His head was missing, and the right arm was without a hand.

According to Sogliano, two painted cupids were seen on the walls of this cubiculum.

His head was missing, and the right arm was without a hand.

The remains of the high red zoccolo can be seen on the north wall below the niches.
