Embedded into the cocciopesto flooring were tiles/slabs of marble leading to the atrium. The zoccolo/dado/plinth of the walls was divided into panels imitating large marble slabs, whose veins were obtained with large white and black strokes.
The middle zone of the walls was simply painted in white. The doorway on the right leads to the latrine.

According to Boyce, no shrine was found in this house although 8 bronze statuettes and other valuables were found in the atrium.

They were:

The two Lares, their attributes missing.

Venus Anadyomene, nude.

Hercules holding an apple in the left hand with the lion skin over the same arm; his right hand and left foot are missing.

Priapus.

Figures of a Faun, a Cupid and an ithyphallic old man – all decorative in character.

VII.15.3 Pompeii. September 2005. Wall of cubiculum.

VII.15.3 Pompeii. September 2005. South wall of oecus, on left side of entrance corridor.

This wall was divided into three panels, and in the central panel was a painting of Atalanta and Meleager which has now completely disappeared, as well as the panels containing marine landscape with buildings and a ship with full sails, loaded with men who are about to land.

At the top of the wall was a moulded cornice, above which the white painted wall led up the vaulted ceiling.

In the lower right, the wall was damaged by a hole made by tunnellers after 79AD.
