“Diogenes Structor” is scratched in the top centre of the plaque above the tools.
Diogenes was probably the proud builder of the wall and scratched his name on the plaque. The name would not have been visible from the ground.
Now held in the SAP Deposits in Pompeii: Inventory number 2254.
