VI.16.14 Pompeii. Steps to upper floor.

VI.16.14 Pompeii. December 2005. Entrance doorway.

According to NdS, on the northern wall of the workshop of VI.16.13 was a trace of the wooden staircase that led to the upper rooms.

This was accessed from the Via del Vesuvio, or sometimes called Via Stabiana, at doorway VI.16.14.
This doorway however, also gave access to a small latrine, as well as to the stairs.
