According to Della Corte, four electoral recommendations found above three corners of this crossroad, all speak of a Salarius Crocus. They read –
(M’ Salarius) Crocus cupit [CIL IV 6647]
Salarius rog(at) [CIL IV 6645]
Crocus c(upidu)s f(acit) [CIL IV 6667]
Salarius (rogat) [CIL IV 3491 – with Note 2]
He thought the first two were from the proprietor of VI.16.3, whereas the last two were probably the proprietor or owner of VI.14.30, Casa del Laocoonte.
