According to Della Corte, this caupona was kept by a certain Salvius, as proved by the electoral recommendation on the wall between the two entrances -

Salvius rog(at) [CIL IV 3493 with note 1].

On the left is the doorway to the kitchen and latrine, a wooden staircase at the side of the kitchen led to the upper floor.
