VI.10.11 Pompeii. March 2009. Room 3, mosaic impluvium with marble sides and remains of mosaic puteal which supported a table.  According to Breton, the puteal was found with a mosaic representing a river god, a head of Jupiter, griffins, masks, and other subjects, of which not a lot remained.

VI.10.11 Pompeii. March 2009. Room 8, north wall of tablinum.  The tablinum was found with a large threshold of lava below a walled-up doorway. The middle zone of the wall had been painted with yellow panels separated by red partitions. In the centre of the north wall, the black predella was found with painted seahorses and green dolphins.

The tablinum was found with a large threshold of lava below a walled-up doorway.

The middle zone of the wall had been painted with yellow panels separated by red partitions.

In the centre of the north wall, the black predella was found with painted sea horses and green dolphins.
