VI.9.6 Pompeii.  Found on 18th June 1828. Room 4.  Area leading to peristyle.  Wall painting of Saturn or Chronos or Chronus holding a sickle. One of two paintings that flanked the door in the deep bay that formed a vestibule for the peristyle.  Now in Naples Archaeological Museum.  Inventory number 8837.  See Helbig, W., 1868. Wandgemälde der vom Vesuv verschütteten Städte Campaniens. Leipzig: Breitkopf und Härtel. (96).
