Black and white mosaic with polychrome tesserae, the central emblema consists of a rose inserted into a star, delimited by four polychrome diamonds set into a square, within a black border with braid design.

This area was badly hit by the bombing on the night of 16th September 1943, two bombs fell on the northern section of the peristyle.
Four columns and three plutei of the north portico were destroyed.
Also destroyed were the perimeter wall towards the north, and the stables accessible from Vicolo dei Gladiatori in the north-west.
