The painted plaster above the graffito, on the right of the entrance doorway, used to show a large head of Minerva.

The painted plaster above the graffito on the west (right) of the entrance doorway, used to show a large head of Minerva.

According to Varone and Stefani, to the right of the head of Minerva was a painted graffito, CIL IV, 7430, but no longer visible

Between the two windows, but now no longer visible, were two painted graffiti, CIL IV, 7438 and CIL IV, 7439.

I.12.3 Pompeii.  December 2007.  Election graffito on wall to west of door now only partly readable. It originally read A(ulum) Trebium aed(ilem) o(ro) v(os) f(aciatis) Soteric(us).  [CIL IV 7432] (“I, Sotericus, ask that you make Aulus Trebius (Valens) aedile.”)  Written in the “O” was the small obscene graffito: Futui coponam    [CIL IV 8442]
