I.4.15 Pompeii. September 2005.  Looking north-east across shop, towards other entrance on Via dell’Abbondanza.  According to Fiorelli, on 9th December 1853, a bronze lamp was found with the name of the patron of the shop incised into an attached tablet:
DIVNI
PROQVLI

The lamp is described as being of bronze with two wicks, incised with the name -
D(ecimi)  Iuni
Proquli  (CIL X 8071)
The lamp is now in the Naples Museum, inventory number 72166.
