According to PPM, the zoccolo was black, the middle zone of the walls were yellow and the central panels alternated with vignettes of the Seasons in the side panels; the stucco cornice divided the middle zone from the white upper part.
In the left (north end) panel of the east wall, a vignette of the Seasons showed “Winter” wearing a cloak.
Described by Minervini (BAI 1861, p.49) as “a female figure with white cloth that wrapped around the head and body”.
She holds a jug in her right hand and a box in her left hand held at waist level.

According to Fiorelli, when excavated only one painting remained, showing Venus and Adonis sitting and looking at a nest of three cupids.
He said they had also found a fragment of the other painting that had a sitting Endymion.

According to Breton, in the centre of the east wall, the painting found was of Leda showing Tindarus the three infants in a nest.

According to Breton, on the west wall facing Leda, the painting was more or less destroyed when excavated.
One could only see a fragment of a sitting person, perhaps Adonis with a dog at his feet, or perhaps Selene and Endymion.

According to PPM, at the south end of the west wall in the yellow side panel was another vignette of the Seasons showing Summer (H 984).
Described by Minervini (BAI 1861, p.49) as “a naked female figure seen from the rear with cloth draped around her body and legs: in her right hand she held a branch/ear of corn, and a scythe in her left hand”.

This room was found with a high zoccolo of cocciopesto and above it, the middle zone of the walls was white.
It had been transformed into a storeroom or cupboard with shelving.
According to Fiorelli, many kitchen items and furnishings were found here.
