VIII.2.26 Pompeii. September 2005. East side of the atrium, with doorways to services area ‘h’,  and cubiculum ‘L’. When excavated the floor of cocciopesto of cubiculum ‘L’ was found to be of excellent quality with a combination of octagons and stars. In the centre of the octagons were white crosses containing black central tesserae.
