 According to Jashemski, there was a small garden at the rear of the house.

This was reached by a passageway on the right of the tablinum.

The gutter along the north, east and south edges of the garden is now destroyed and vanished.

According to PPM

– the zoccolo was discoloured: the middle zone of the wall had a red central panel with yellow side panels, which may have been separated by candelabra (?). According to Mau, the wall was III Style.
