According to Jashemski, she thought the large rectangular area entered directly from the street had been cleared of construction.
This was probably done after the earthquake and was used as a garden.
It opened at the rear into two rooms which were part of an industrial complex

Semi-circular high masonry walled area with no entrance, forming a small arc-shaped area in north-east corner of garden area.
This was possibly to be used for water storage.
According to Jashemski, Dr De Caro had suggested to her that this might have been an above ground cistern in the process of construction.
