low lattice fence.
A bowl fountain with
a square brim stands in front of the fence and is supported by a tall slender
pedestal. The surrounding shrubs, now
barely visible, were identified by Spano (NSc (1910) p. 402 and Fig 11) as Oleanders. There were faint traces of birds. The painting is framed by two barely visible
herms.
